When they do repo or ferry flights, do they usually assign that to reserves? There was one down here in Memphis that was going to Detroit, and I wanted to do that, but didn't know how they determine who goes. Just thought it would be fun flying from hub to hub.

I've been called in for a repo flight from DTW to MSP in the saab on reserve... It was definitely a different experience... Granted I've also diverted from DTW-ATW to our alternate of MSP I'm pretty sure its mostly reserve though I've been on a 4 day and switched with another crew on a trip to do a TVC turn when they got to visit exotic MEM on a repo

I did notice there were fewer lines in DTW this month not counting green lines, do we have more saabs in C checks?

I don't track MEM, but in DTW the 13 green lines next month will take care of all the new hires, so things should go back to normal for line holders. Conversely, this means a long time on reserve with no flying for new guys. Get used to the pilot's life of every day being a frustrationathon, right?
