My lease is up on my apt on Aug 31 but they will let me pay monthly so I might have to do that for a month or two awaiting class.
Do they at least give you material to start studying while your waiting?

The only thing they send out prior to training is the benefits info, PRIA, and some other things that deal strictly with you basic employement (like almost any job) No training material is sent out prior to employement, but you should still come with the basic knowledge that you have acquired as a pilot. Don't attempt to get any material on the aircraft you are flying as each company has their own set of procedures and so forth, and you may end up studying the wrong model/limitations/etc.

Do they tell you in the interview what plane/base you'll get.....? Are many getting the CRJ or all going to the Saab?

No, you dont find out in the interview. Youll find out via an initial phone call about a week after the interview/sim if you've been hired, with a confimation letter after that if you accept during the phone call. Some people have had equipment/class in their confirmation letter, some (like me) have not. I called Steve about 2 weeks after my confirmation letter showed up to figure out when I could expect a class date. There have been a few people that have been getting the CRJ, I personally know of only 2 people on either CRJ, the vast majority are getting the SAAB.
