It was great!! the Saab Sim Rock !! all the FO's passed a few street Capt's busted the first time but all passed the second time around..but all in all the traing and the instructors we had were great!! So far i hear there is 4 week wait for IOE in the Saab... im not sure how long you 900 guys have to wait for IOE
#2644
Nice, congrats! From what I've heard its a 1-2 month wait. Where are you guys going to be based?
#2645
Well so far all the FO's and most Capts got MEM. And a few Capts are still hoping for DTW cause its a easier commute for them, but well see when the next award comes out. But IOE will be in DTW or MSP cause lack of check airmen in MEM

Buddy of mine was in the Dec 28th class for the saab and still hasn't gotten the IOE call. Enjoy your paid vacation!

Good luck and best wishes to all the new hires and ones that will be starting IOE. OOOwheeeeee, now the real training begins. FWIW, just take it literally leg by leg. Take your time, be open minded with constructive criticism. Most of all BE SAFE and HAVE FUN! Once you get on line, you will be inundated with junior manning, ALPA stuff, CDO's that dont go right and will be up all night etc.....and it will be daunting and will down right pi** you off. So take this time during IOE to enjoy the hard work you have accomplished from the interview, through ground and sim and your checkride. My buddy Brian does IOE out of DTW and he is an accomplished Saab driver and instructor. For those fortunate to get him during IOE, please show up on time if not early, be prepared, and you will do fine. You are now part of a great pilot group that prides itself in SAFETY and the record they stand behind. And one more thing, please be respectful of all the work groups (FA's, ground support, gate agents, etc...You all work on the same team for the same goal.)

The Riches??? Dangit, I never got mine.........well I guess there's always the powerball.
As for the lifestyle, learn the system, know the system, work the system (obviously by playing by the rules).
Congratulations guys/girls!
