There are still 4 Line Check Airmen on MEM on the Saab...at least for April. Several in DTW and 2 or 3 still in MSP. IOE will continue to occur at all three bases on the Saab.

Seems like the seniority numbers have been getting junior. How many more upgrades would be likely this year?
I don't think we will see them get back into the 600's. As long as the seat locks continue to release, I think it will continue to stay above 600. I did hear a rumor though that once the IOE line thins out on the jets, that the seat locks will be enforced once again. That will probably start this summer. If that does happen, you might see the 900 go junior again in MEM and DTW. Wouldn't hold my breath though.

I am not sure that those blue seats are actually the "new" seats. I have seen them as well and they might just be the old seats with new cushions. Apparently, NWA has purchased all new seats from a new vendor to install. Since they just recently got FAA approval, we could not have seen them in an aircraft yet. Stay tuned for the "new" new seats!

444s blue seats are a product of the leather dying experiment they undertook a few years ago. Those are the same seats, just with dyed leather. THis experiment was also when they were looking to recover the seats in a cloth fabric to save weight.

I moved to Minni on the March 1 move date, and will be holding a line on April 1. I was astounded at only one month of reserve!

Great info about 444...I was always wondering about that. Now how about 420s white cargo door?

It got dorked up some how (ramp rash?). Any ways that is basically primer white Saab replacement door.

quick question, the group email that went out to class 06-08 said that our check in date (for the hotel) is apr 6 and check out may 1. But isn't class longer than that? Even the monthly training sked shows us in class on may 1 and 2, and I assume longer. Am I missing something here?

The Ground portion is maybe one month and change if I remember correctly. That is all they probably have alloted for with that(ie it doesnt include sim)

Usually the last week (4th week) you get out on Thursday in the early afternoon.
