The earliest possible is July. But realistically we're looking at August or September before we see any new Saab drivers in MSP.

If anyone says they know they are lying. The future here in the red tail family is very uncertain right now.

We are scheduled to operate 102 aircraft by the end of the year. 1300-1400 pilots is just too many based on our historic utilization. 1200 is a plausable number. If we are really, truly going to 1300-1400, then they (HR) knows something that we don't.

10 CREWS?! I think you mean 10 pilots. The number I use is actually 11 to include a % for reserves and management/FTI's etc. 102 x 11 = 1122 pilots. That is just my guess. If we get more CRJs, it certainly could go to 1400.

Nothing has been said nor rumored about this. The jets are not built, so it would be a situation where options are converted to orders. Nobody at our level has any indication of what, if anything, is in the works for the options. NWA holds options with Embraer as well.

Don't know if you heard but that deal is dead. Pilots won't come to an agreement on seniority integration and I don't think management is about to force something.

I live in Minny but I'm actually enjoying the flying out of DTW. The routes are better and I'm holding a line already. I'm really not interested in coming to MSP and sitting reserve for over a year atleast.
To each his own though.

I understand, I have a good line in Memphis, just sometimes I think I would like to be closer to the family and not always commuting. But you are right, I am not looking forward to sitting reserve.

Wait until you've been through a whole season of summer commuting and see if your opinion changes!
