so if you are sitting Ta between 7 hour legs it means you are avail to fly if needed between flights? if so, does that mean you are not on call to make that 7th hour flight? I guess I am asking if you take that flight are you off your orig sked with the TA involved...
ps, if AV8R answers this question next, I guess that makes it the 2000th post! Yea!

I dont think it would be far fetched to say that we would be ready for another saab class by then though.

In the past week or so at XJ they have released seat locks without back filling the positions (equals a net loss of CA positions), posted a TOWOP, and now cut a number of turns from all bases... I hope this is not a sign of things to come. After the past few years of pretty severe turbulence, I think we were all looking forward to at least a couple years of peace...

If anyone's in MSP tonight KSTP is doing an investigative story during the news at 10 about an increase in inexperienced pilots flying YOU around. Are YOU ready for that? To quote the guy in the promo, "This is something that the traveling public needs to start thinking about a lot more."
Here's a link to the promo http://kstp.com/article/stories/S317146.shtml?cat=1&v=1

XJ guys - Where can I reference the commuter policy? I can't seem to find it in the contract or FOM. Am I looking in the wrong place?

It's in the FOM, and the actual language of it was kind of disappointing. Basically a lot of "can only use if it can be reasonably expected that you'll make the flights taking weather/system delays into consideration".
There is other language in there too that basically says if they want to screw you on it....they can.
Oh and the second flight has to get you in 1 hour before show time (so 2 hours before your first flight). Alot of people seem to think its just 'in by showtime'.
