07-20 doesn't award until Tuesday, so we don't know the move date until then. 07-19 had a move date of March 1, as did 07-18. My best guess is that 07-20 will have a move date of April 1.

Thats exactly what I thought! Haha, but I also thougth with the saab there would be flying more and the oppurtunity to make more paper. I interview on the 8th, so I shouldn't count my chickens quite yet but any info I can get helps. Thanks guys.

Just looking for a piece of advice from anyone DTW based. I've got a really nice apartment in Ann Arbor and have one crashpader and am looking for one more to crashpad and someone to move in. Its a 2bed 2bath place about 1300 sq ft. The only downside or upside to it is that its about a 20-25 minute drive to the employee lot so it'd be benefficial to have a car. I've already got a paper up on the board in the crew lounge but does anyone have any ideas on how else to advertise? Or know of anyone who's just planning on moving to DTW? Thanks.

Culture Shock ??? - Help those low time new hires about to start class. It would be nice to see comments from 1-3 month (low time) line pilots on the "eye openers" of moving from a C-152 CFI (or other) position to flying the SAAB in snow, or cruising at 30,000 in the CRJ.

Thanks for that info RJ. If I am the second to youngest in the 14th class, could I expect dtw or mem? How do they decide on who gets the CRJ or the SF3 out of 20 people in the 14th class? (FO wise)

Wow have we gotten to that point already? How is the junior CRJ capt more senior than the junior CR9 capt? And I wouldn't have thought anyone hired this year could hold CR9 capt.

The CRJ is all MSP based, MSP is very senior. Keep in mind that the most junior CR9 CA in MSP was hired in DEC 1993! Most of the pilots that live in the MSP area will not commute for any equipment...well, maybe the Avro, but that is no longer an issue.

Yes, there you have it. A great opportunity for the guys/gals joining us in the last several months.
