How are the street captains treated by the more senior FOs? Or do the captains tape over their emp numbers?

As long as they don't complain about being on eternal reserve, I don't really care. I may only have 6+ mos at XJ, but I'm still a "more senior FO." 
What street CAs mean to me is that when I do upgrade, I probably will never sit reserve...

What percetage of new hire are going to the 900 or 200? Also how long is upgrade into these?

What's the matter, you got somthin against the Saab 
J/K - There is no percentage, they hire into whatever equipment has vacancies at the time. We are taking delivery of both 200's and 900's right now but we also have right seats to fill in the Saab so.......

<<< I'm hearing rumors of a new airframe coming soon... j/k. Someone posted the latest vacancy already, may have been on one of the other Mesaba threads but here it is again. As you can see they're hiring into these airframes for the Jan. 14th classes.

Did they replace the throtlle quadrant with a spare from the Avro's? 
On a second note I'm having a hard time debating whether to bid for MEM or DTW. Right now I like DTW a little better and have a friend who lives in Ann Arbor. Besides "AA" are there any other areas I should be looking at that are nice and within a 30 minute commute? If I get MEM I have been reading the other thread and have a pretty good idea where I will be going. With that said my budget for housing is max 800$'s and all I need is a 1Bed/1 Bath Apartment. I've done the apartment guide search but you can only get so much info from those.
