I'm glad I'm finally in class, but enjoy your free time now because you guys are going to have a full plate when you get here. Like another guy said, it's no cake walk.

Can you give us any advice on things to work on ahead of time?

Why are you so worried about how much time everyone has?

how long is it taking to hear back from Mesaba. I was told I had the job upon coming back out and passing the sim and background check and that was last friday. The sim instructor told me I didn't have anything to worry about but I haven't heard anything yet.

There's nothing you should work on before you get here. You'll have plenty of work once you get here, so enjoy your time off and put effort in once here and you'll do fine. They dont expect you to know everything once you get here.

hey flyby, dont worry about it. it took them 9 business days (which was about 12-13 actual days since there was memorial day weekend) for them to get back to me. they have to wait for the fbi to get their act together and do the background check and since its the government, itll take a while. just be patient. i was in your shoes until tuesday of this week when i got the call. now im sweatin it out waitin for the confirmation letter in the mail!

Default New Hire July 16 Class

HELLO,
has anybody heard of anybody being dropped out of the hiring pool? Just a little nervous about the date being so far off. I am getting ready to turn in my resignation letter to my employer.
