Default See, The DCA approach is easy

See the DCA approach is easy, you mess up here you get a violation, you mess up there and you crash into a mountain, or a small village.

wow that's pretty neat... wonder if there are spots like that at all the airports, a place to set up a camera.

(turn down the volume for this one... I didn't add the "singing")

try this one... it may be a straight-in, but you'll work for it!

Default What about the aspen approach

I know skywest does the aspen thing in the 700's. Just looking at an approach that has a point of no return is intimidating. I would love to shoot the approach one day but that would have to be harry, a real white knuckler. Any skywest guys have any input?

I think Saab was doing the soundtrack for that second video. He needs to continue taking his voice lessons

I used to go into Aspen in a Challenger. Not a lot of fun. One way in and same way out. The missed is tough. After Avjet cratered their GIII in there the company told us not to go into Aspen anymore. We use Eagle now and let them drive into Aspen.

I've done teluride a couple of times. Land down at Montrose and fuel up for the flight out to the coast.

what, you mean the missed approach point? Most approaches do have one. ASE is an approach just like any other. unless, of course, you're some moron in a gulfstream who goes 2,000 feet below MDA to satisfy his(now dead as a door nail) boss
