There are lots of "kids" here but you won't be the only high timer new-hire.

Study the gouge. You won't get hired if you bust the test or the sim. Sim is straight forward as long as you know how to enter holding and have any cross-check at all. When I interviewed several guys were shown the door immediately after the test. At least one guy busted the sim but it was a clean kill (busted DH and hit the ground among other problems).

I'm more comfortable about it all after following up on some of the advice I've received. I'm not as rusty on the ATP stuff as I thought I was but I do need to remember to RTFQ thoroughly. I will get a little desktop sim time using the MEM plates. MEM plates were copied and emailed to me for use in study and sim practice.
I requested a June 5 interview which will give me time to get everything done and get a little ahead on some of the installs I have in process.
The "kids" are great.....I was a 24 year old Captain once too. I had the good fortune of flying with some really cool EAL guys (man did I learn from those guys) and they were really cool.

Hired?
If you have congrat!! but if not.............
You are hired after you have done the checkride.
An interview and class date is just an offer to train for employment if you make it you will be employed after the checkride.
People with lots of hours and experience have had a hard time during training and it is in no way an easy task so just be prepared to work extremly hard if you want to make it.
