And who cares about 30 days off in a row when you’re only off 10 days total the other 11 months of the year. And for only $135,000! Lol... whatever floats your boat buddy.
I think his boat is floating pretty low with that load of cash weighing it down.

Why are you criticizing someone for working as much as they want?

The boat he never gets to enjoy because he’s only off 10 days /month? I’m not criticizing him. That’s why I said, “whatever floats your boat”. I just think it’s ludicrous to boast about only making $135,000 for such little time off.

Well, anyway you cut it, $135k goes a long way in Houston with the low cost of living. That might be chicken scratch in NYC, but it's pretty good down here.

Yes, Mesa isn't the highest paying regional, but it appears there's opportunities to make extra cash if wanted, unlike some.

He’d fit right in at Piedmont... captains dropping down to 7 days a month working themselves for 100% premium pay just get by while hoping no one else picks up so the 300% they’re used to comes back, yet refusing to apply to anywhere outside the flow.

I'd love to see the breakdown of how he pulled that off on Mesa wages. Something doesn't add up.

Well apparently he timed out last June and had to take a month off, so I assume he flew his ass off and picked up alot of open trips.

Yea I hear ya. It’s why I commute honestly. I like where I live and living is very affordable.

Man most professionals (college graduates) get less than 8 days off a month and make less than 65k, I'd be happy with 10 days off and 135k...
