In NY, yea pretty close. 5 years isn’t THAT junior as a captain in NY. That combined with picking up flying on days off. And all you did to get that 125 was look at our hourly rate and credit hours only. I said that 140 included per diem, “bonuses”, etc. I averaged 100-110 credit hours/month depending how much I picked up on my days off.

We don’t get much in the way of bonuses, unless you recommend a lot of people. I do that in credit every month and I was about $35K lower. I must be doing something wrong.

I use bonuses loosely. I was referring to the rjet goals of whatever their called. And I’ve referred zero people.

71k 5-year Captain, 11-12 days off a month (not by choice). No premium flying because people should work to live, not live to work. Pretty awesome when FO’s out-earn you.

No offense intended, but that's terrible.

Jeez Mesa, step it up.

So what’s the attraction to Mesa still?

No offense taken, I'd like people to see that when they're making a decision on a regional.

When I was there, you simply showed up to the gate do your job, go home, no one bothered you. I will not say the quick upgrade was an attraction because that came as a surprise when they won the United EJet contract. Grossed more money first year with new job than entire time at Mesa. Again, crap luck that going to Mesa got me to where I am the quickest.

It's the same thing literally everywhere. And actually that's not the story I get from the few Mesa refugees I've talked to.
