i think that video tells the tale.
looks like G-LOC to me. obvioiusly the jury is still out and this is a sad accident no matter how you look at it, but getting down to the cause, i would bet you it will come down to a G-LOC.
i dont understand why this team insists on flying without a G-suit. i know they give the excuse that they cant fly tight formation etc, etc because of the suit inflation (which i personally think is BS), but how long do you have to go on with this and lose guys before you ditch the "macho" attitude and wear the proper equipment that has been designed to save your life. The physiologists claim the G-suit gives you about an extra G of tolerance and sometimes that might be the difference between a hard turn and a "bad day".
by the way, the previous accident (in 1999) was G related and one of the recommendations was for the team to start wearing G-suits........look how that worked out for them....
