Bottom line: All turboprops are cool and each has a specific discipline where it excels or fits the given market. Your job decision should be an individual weighted average of upgrade time and QOL.
And if you want to work for Jet Blew, you have problems way more urgent than which turboprop to choose.

The SF is cool, but a PIG if you're heavy.(Pax or ice)

Not all the D's have a flight director on the right side (actually, most that I fly don't).
The 1900 is a good bird, and echoing a previous poster, you gotta decide what you want, in terms of upgrade, pay, lifestyle, base, etc...don't just decide by which plane you think is the "coolest."

no, its called, the pax are not dying of heat stroke in the back, and you don't smell like rotten cabbage after 14 hours in 95 deg heat.
