Not me. I did enough 12 min. flights from LAX to ONT, the AP was still used. I don't care how "stable" something is when it's trimed out, it's nice to have the AP when the approach is calling RVR of 1800.

Seriously, is there really any contest? The SAAB is full of quarks, but is generally a good ship.

I was just hired to fly the 340--turned down a 1900 job last year and am glad that I will be flying the Saab. What are the qwirks that I will get used to in the Saab?

The props don't feather, they coarsen. However there is an auto-feather pump

Don't expect to make a nice landing, gears too rigid

A/P works pretty well, but get used to using the HDG bug to track a VOR, not the NAV Select button or whatever

Don't be surprised at the places you will find porn...............its everywhere

Get used to obnoxious pax making comments about hoping the "Rubber-Band" is connected to the Props

And get ready to sweat in the summer, and freeze in the winter

Still a good airplane though, have fun TurboProps will make you a great stick

Well I need to lose 20lbs anyway so sweating in the summer won't bother me and I run hot so the winter shouldn't be bad either. As for pax comments as long as they stay in the back that is fine with me.
