Unfortunately, airline management is counting on guys like you who are willing to jump ship from instructing to work for $15-$19 hr. HSLD posted a great slide scale about wages. You can expect to earn less than minimum wage working for an airline for the amount of time you put in . . . But you get to brag that you fly jets. Right now there is more prestige driving Dump Trucks for Waste Management than there is being a pilot for an airline.

If pilot who could apply now. . . . WAITED for one year, and no one submitted applications or went to interviews . . . The TOWER will come falling down. Imagine. Regional pilots leaving for the majors, and NO ONE to take their place. IN A HURRY . . . . that's how fast regional management will raise wages.
