Paying big dollars for flight school in order to get an interveiw, not not diffrent than simply buying your way into an airline. Just curious to see what you all think about those programs.
Regardless, its the guy at the end of the day who has the job whom is smiling.
ATP doesn't make a dime or is not owned by Pinnacle, XJT or any other airline that they have agreements with. That's the difference from something like Gulfstream. ATP grads are hard working CFIs that have lots of multi time. No one has bought their way into any job... they spent the money on the ratings just like everyone else and worked to build the flight time. The average price for most pilot ratings these days is $45k. People that time build in C152s and do all the FBO training to save money usually aren't as prepared as an ATPish flight school grad (for the most part).

Not trying to flame, just trying to distinguish a school like ATP/Ari Ben from a Gulfstream operation.
