Where are the new hires at Pinnacle getting based? If not MEM, how long to get MEM? How long to hold a line in MEM?

Out of the three friends of mine that have been hired over the past year all of them got MEM. One did go to DTW in order to get a line faster.

So far everyone I know received Memphis if they wanted it (Detroit too). Only 4 people in my class (which started March 12) were able to get MSP. All the others got their second choice.

Can someone who has interviewed with Pinnacle tell me if the questions in the study guide located at Aviation Interviews website are current or not. There are about 100 of them typed up in a Word doc and I hear it is a 50 question written, so I wasn't sure how valid it was. It seems to have good questions in it though. Thanks

That's what I studied, in addition to the Gleim ATP Test Prep software, 121 regs, and the legend and introduction sections of the Jepps. Worked for me.

And IIRC, only one guy in the most recent class got MEM. Everyone else got DTW. Nobody got MSP.

Did you trust all the answers that were put on there. I have found some to be wrong and of course not all have answers.

I just got hired by Pinnacle and all I can say is to practice the HR questions. They ask a lot of scenerio stuff (drunk capt). The captain interviewing me said they just added that part of the interview. I was asked 5 different questions like, what was your worst flying expierence? Have you ever broken a FAR? What makes you stand out from other pilots? Capt. refuses to go missed after reaching DA and no runway, what would you do? One guy that interviewed before was let go after the HR part because he took too long to answer and never gave firm answers. It was a long interview process. I arrived at 8am and didn't leave untill 4pm. They really were nice folks, they like guys with personalities, stay relaxed and smile a lot.
