you must not have flown an EP before. things are dogs. no jet should have to do<1000fpm in the flight levels to stay above 200KIAS

and the cup holders are good for one thing; holding your cell phone.

Who cares?

They both have 50 seats and pay for crap, so comparing the XR wunder pencil to the Hoser Jet is an exercise in stupidity.

Anyway.. back to the topic at hand.

How do TSA CA's feel about these low mins. Professional babysitters?
A 250 hour wonder would shlt his pants trying to get in and out of LGA.

That's very true.....no wonder pilot is ready for that type of ATC/traffic environment. Those contollers in the N/E a hard enough to keep up with for seasoned guys.

I'll reiterate what someone else said a while back - "I wouldn't have the b@lls to apply for an airline job with those hours".

I want to instruct before I even think about that. If you have to teach it, you have to know it.
Hey dude, there is nothing wrong to put a 250tt guy with a commercial Multi ad on the right seat. What about India, China, and Europe. They come over here to get their ratings and once they are done with a commercial license they go home to fly a shiny Airbus 320 or B737NG. I know 2 indian guys that got done last year and they fly airbus 320 they got hired with 250tt wiht an indian carrier, and they have about 1000 tt last time I sopke with them. He told me that he has gained much more experienced.

So please don't come here and tell me that it is not safe....I have to call it bu....st!!!!

There is a captain on the left seat and with time the FO will gain experienced.

I agree with you. It's been common practice in some European countries to hire guys with 300TT. I think what the man was saying is that it's a much faster paced environment and the key is staying a few steps ahead of the airplane. I remember when I flew the 727 sim: very difficult for someone with only 0.9 actual C152 time. LOL! The people who make the cut with 250TT is going to vary. But again, 250TT has been practice all over the world for quite a while.
