The extremely high cost to rent an instructor coupled with rising fuel costs will further hinder anyone in there right mind from coming into aviation. Looks like the market will finally start to slow the supply and force the airlines to pay more.
This will be interesting.
The ebb and tide of the aviation industry.

You *do* know you are talking about Hulas Kanodia, right?

Funny thing is you just know some low guys are going to jump all over this. DON'T TAKE THE BAIT. Those low numbers may look exciting and awesome to you but in reality they are just trying to reel you in and turn your head away from better opportunities that aren't that far off from your grasp.

I'll reiterate what someone else said a while back - "I wouldn't have the b@lls to apply for an airline job with those hours".

I want to instruct before I even think about that. If you have to teach it, you have to know it.

Dude to this day I still don't understand their setup......I came in with my private single, had to do a worthless (waste of money) familiarization course in the single, then they do the private multi, then the IRA, then the comm stuff.

(I left after a year...too much money)
