Jumpseating Thank You!!

I recently passed my final check ride in the sim and had a few days off so I was told I can go home until they schedule me for IOE. Every flight was booked so I jumpseated home on a different regional (ASA). I was pumped up but at the same time nervous I would get some captain who would act like an A** to me. Well nothing could be farther from the truth. The two pilots I flew with were on the last day of a four day trip and were very courteous, friendly, and professional. I was watching them like a hawk to try and learn a few things and I was definitely impressed. I would like to thank them for their courtesy. It was my first time ever on a flight in the cockpit of a jet and it was definitely a great experience!!

I jumpseat on a couple different carriers and have always had a welcoming crew. I in turn always welcome other airline crews into the cabin. Its not about us verses them, its all about getting home.

Why? Is there some reason he/she would not like you?

Pantera I agree, but I do know there are captains out there with Napolean syndrome. I was just glad on my first time in the cockpit I got a taste of what it will be like most of the time I jumpseat.
