You can’t fly in at 2300 after your last day of reserve then drive to Gunnison.

Captain at Skywest in DEN is 4-5 years depending on aircraft. 3 years in COS.

PHX is even more senior at OO, but if the commute to PHX is reasonable, then I’d look at Compass.
Thanks. Life, Business we own, 7acres with horses, etc will require that sacrifice. Just found out that I won't be able to qualify for R-ATP so it's even further off and things can change by then. My degree from ERAU was before the letter of auth. I had anticipated it would be a no go but was hopeful. A 1998 degree is not aged like a fine wine.

I start commuting to Moab utah in April to fly 135 with Redtail this summer. Then will look for something over the winter to get the time to apply next winter/spring a year from now.

As someone that was in a corporate job with 80-100% travel before opening a business in Crested Butte - the travel is engrained. Know it's different but many benefits to where I live and have a business to help support going back to aviation.

Just gotta go with what opportunity presents itself once I have the hrs

Thanks all to the input.

If you're in CO, and when you get to the point that you qualify, I would think COS with SkyWest or DEN with someone else in your best bet.

Right on, I need gears these days Always down for a ride we make it down to CB a few times a year.

As to your conundrum, the good thing is (assuming you want to move on to a legacy) after awhile you could do one or two trips a month and be done with it. Make the challenge of the commute easier to handle. Even at a regional with a little seniority you could stack a couple of trips back to back to limit the commute.
