Does that mean we can add Lakes to the list of carriers hiring street CA's?

Not just yet...and most likely not in the near future. There is some talk of it happening if we get all the new flying we're chasing, but I personally don't think it likely. That said, we're pretty short on captains for now, but they're slowly upgrading to fix that.

Whoever gets that Joplin action will be getting my resume. Something is going on with Air Midwest, just can't figure out what. I hear they hired for a class and then canceled the class for this past Monday.

No clue on that one...While we're definitely chasing some flying in the Missouri area, nothing that I've heard of has anything to do with Joplin.

Is there many people wanting to go to STL or will all the new hires and JR CPTs have to go?

Well, of the STL and MKE flying prospects, I'd say it's far more likely for STL to go junior than MKE, since we have quite a few UND folks/MN natives flying here. But, it's pretty hard to tell at this point...perhaps STL would be an easier commute for some. I'd say that if you came here you should be prepared for any base except for PHX right off the bat.

I don't think they ever set up a class for this week. We still have one going right now and we only have one class room. they never run two new hire classes together. Just my thoughts, but I agree something is going on. Hopefully we will know soon.
