Yeah yeah. Problems with the CRJ nose gear extension system. Problems with the MD80 jackscrew assembly. Problems with the EMB120 prop governor system. Problems with the DC-10 hydraulic system. Problems with the B767 bellcrank shear rivets. Problems with the B737 AND A300 rudder systems (hardover and breaking loose, respectively). All airplanes have "problems". Except maybe the 777, haven't heard of many issues there. Anyone?

Couldn't find the NTSB report for the second. From what I've gathered, both instances were kind of a mystery. Bombardier apparently found some issues which may have caused it, and had to do with some fabrication issues on certain airplanes.

Two Skywest CRJ's landed with the nosegear only partially extended, one in LAX and the other I believe was in Dallas (maybe Houston). Link to the LAX incident:

If this happens to you have the stronger of the two pilots standup and put his shoulders over that handle. I did it in the airplane once, and it's harder to pull than I recall from the sim.
