Interviews
Since June 2006 I have been to way too many 121 interviews and no offers!
I am going to try PDT and following week Mesaba other wise guess will have to go do some 135 and try again then I DON'T KNOW WHAT MORE TO DO! If the off chance PDT offers I will take it! Get through a 121 training program maybe get out onto the line a bit and move onward. Also I have an almost sealed deal with a VERY prestigious G450 company and I will start @ 80K on a G450. My friend the CP at the company is lowering min to 2000TT and 250 normal is 3000 and 500. And I would be sent to FSI for a G5 Type. So based on my hours I am close.........Negative to this is a 3 week on and 1 month off schedule. Those 3 weeks your away from home. At least at a 121 when you have the ability to hold a line can make your schedule based on senority?

FYI: PDT doesn't run your typical 121 training program, they run an accelerated AQP program that emphasizes LOFT and CRM, etc...it's pretty intense and quick, but thurough...they are the only fully-AQP compliant regional airline out there actually, and they were one of the first airlines ever to have a fully certified AQP program (I think some others are United, Delta, Alaska, ACA(back in the day)).
BTW, that answers that other guy's questions too, as to why they don't have IOE; in the AQP program, it's not "I"OE, it's basically the same thing just called SOE (funny, flyfresno :-D)

Surprisingly. . .they don't pay that bad. Their 1st year pay is only second to Horizon.

Just out of curiosity....how did you get 1 hour of turbine time? Could the interviewers see that 1 hour and think it is not real time? You seem like you are trying hard, and have been turned down by a lot of places, maybe you should try a professional interview prep. It is not a bad thing to do, and it could help find out what it is that the interviewers do not like. Just a suggestion....

if you're breathing, you'll get the job.
Whatever your flight time, just get the gauge for the written test during the interview and once you pass that, you CANNOT FAIL THE INTERVIEW. You will be offered a job with Piedmont. (As long as you pass the written) As far as upgrade time, Piedmont will have merged with PSA by 2010, so take that into consideration.
P.S. Hey Schoolio, how's EXPJ?
