i could actually see the pinnacle thing happening too. seems like pinnacle is going to have a hard time finding the heads to fill those left seats with such a low time pilot group, the senior pilot group at comair would be shoe in's to jump ahead of the 250-500 hour heroes.

I don't...'cause it's not true. I forgot to add my disclaimer.

Anyone have any idea how long Comair is taking to call for interviews after completing the online airlineapps?

Thanx TD....I applied the night before last and haven't heard back yet. I heard people were getting emails within hours of applying and CMR is my first choice so I was curious. When do you interview...if you haven't already?

Give it a bit pusher. It just depends on when they checked the system last. If you meet the mins they will send you an email we need pilots.

Default Pinnacle buying Comair? NO WAY.

Check out Pinnacles balance sheet from Yahoo finance:

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bs?s=PNCL&annual

Cash is down to $705,000. There is no way they could afford it without some SERIOUS LEVERAGE. Remember, Delta sold ASA for $400 million and that's when they were desperate. I think Skywest and Republic are the only other regionals with the cash to pull off a Comair buyout. Hopefully, if it happens, it will be an IPO or a private equity group. That way there would be nothing but a good effect on the pilot group...none of the whipsaw BS.
