If it wasn't for uncle Al this forum would not be possible, since he is the inventor of the internet.

I tell you what, this is a nice change in the rumor mill. It has be RAH that will buy Comair for so long. Glad to see someone else's name mixed in this garbage. Maybe the glares I get over in the C gates in CVG will end.

(Comair guys, that last sentence was a joke.)

I saw a news report that stated Delta is planning to emerge from bankruptcy by April 30th and may be selling some "assets" to make that happen. Could this be Comair?

I have not heard any rumours of this, these are just my thoughts, but if comair is going to be sold, I wouldn't be suprised if "Pinnacle Corp" tried to put in an offer to buy comair in exchange for future delta growth. What an ugly situation that would turn into.

Pinnacle? No way. I would be very suprised.

It would be ugly if Comair would have to merge with any pilot group. It would be a miserable place to be for a while. Lots of in-fighting. I hope the Comair guys stay as a stand-alone group. They have worked hard for airline.

It's sad that you actually believe that factoid.

I dont see how PNCL could feesable afford comair all other factors asside other than money. Not only would we be plum out of cash, but there is not that much leverage even with all our stock and cash. Now I could be very wrong here but from looking at the PNCL balance sheet I dont see it as feesable. The only way it COULD happen would be a private equity group or a merger/deal with the devil (insert any of the mgmt groups involved here..) to get delta flying via the comair banner under the PNCL corp umbrella. I am all for expansion but this would be an explosion that the employees couldnt contain. Just my opinion on that there....
