my thoughts exactly, delta got burned by comair once, they wont let it happen again.

Talked to one of my buddies over at SKW; he hasn't heard anything about a buyout of Comair.
(Boiler, it was one of the twins who you also know.)

Why would we want Comair. Unless it comes with another extension like ASA did, maybe taking our "Guaranteed Route Contract" through 2030? LOL, sure!

Why? Check these numbers out!

Currently SKW Inc.
SKW:......................Pilots - 2611........A/C - 263
ASA:.......................Pilots - 1640?......A/C - 152
----------------------------------------
Totals SKW Inc:.......Pilots - 4251.........A/C - 415
Add Comair:..............Pilots - 1640?......A/C - 163
-------------------------------------------
Totals:.....................Pilots - 5891.......A/C - 578

That's larger than SWA, HOLLY ******, we're just a regional?

Why?

Dont forget comair is still involved in litigation. It would be difficult to sale for a good return until that is settled.

I work for Midwest's wholly-owned, and I haven't heard SKYW is buying us. Lots of OTHER speculation, but not them.

Comair, though, I wouldn't know. That'd be interesting.
