If you don't like the way this site is run, feel free to go somewhere else. JC has the Lav where that sort of thing belongs and would be allowed. This site, on purpose I think, doesn't have that sort of forum. I kinda like it here because of that. You might not. But, I think the cheap shot towards the admins here is out of line.

You don't catch on to sarcasim too well do you? I think it's kind of pointless to have a forum talking about aviation when some of the problems in aviation are "taboo" on said forum. I for one was interested in the points of view and I thought it was rather close minded of the administrators to just yank it rather than at least putting up "Hey, lets try to talk about this like adults". Personally, I'm not someone who just posts crap for the sake of getting a rise out of people. I don't sit on here and make a bunch of outlandish comments and tear everyone down for whatever opinion they have. And I certainly don't get my panties in a bunch when someone disagrees with me or I'm "offended".

Yeah, we get that. I'm only a mod, not an admin, but I'm sure your opinion's been noted somewhere way up the food chain.
Again, I kinda like this site as much as because of what isn't here, as what is. The admins set the tone on how that works and I think it works well. As I said, there are other places you could have had the discussion you so eagerly seek. This isn't that place.
Off the top of my head, I'd guess that it wasn't so much the subject was taboo as the admin who deleted the thread wasn't interested in seeing the name calling and angst that was sure to follow.
I'd suggest that, in the future, if you disagree with a decision a mod or admin makes, that you PM or email them. I've found that the admins here are happy to take the time to explain themselves if something is really bothering you. I can promise you you'll get nowhere if you publically "redicule that decision" at the forums (I think you meant ridicule)
