No promises. Problem is they have to get people on the property NOW to cover vacations, upgrades, etc. The jets don't start arriving until end of May. New hires in the June and after timeframe will stand a good chance of getting a jet slot, but there will always be Saab openings as well.
SENIORITY is everything in this business. If you are offered a class, take it and don't be picky about equipment. Again, the pay is the same regardless for F/O's. The first new hire will have Seniority number right around 600. Junior Saab captains when we have all of the airplanes by the end of 2008 will be in the 640's. Getting on NOW, means you have a much better chance of seeing upgrade in the next 12-18 months.

Not if there's a 12 month CA upgrade. MESABA doesn't want to get into the same situation as Pinnacle. No captains. Pack em in! But I do see a new rumor starting up in your post.

we have already got the 15 from the desert, now we are waiting to get the 2 back from mesaba, actually compass has one of them... hence the 150percent pay for picking up time and the 95 hour lines... at least i got 15 days off in april.

Are you guys having to pick up time or are most doing it 'cause of the 150% pay?
