Default Best Regional Option

Next summer I'll jump into the fray and will most likely need to freshen up my jet experience at a regional. I've got almost 1,000 hours of 121 time from Mesa 20 years ago.

Currently in the SW and would like to minimize the commute or have an easy temp move to a close base.

Envoy was most interesting to me but after hearing about the displacement assignments to CA LGA I'm thinking that's not the best idea.

Any bright ideas?

Skywest, Compass, Mesa in that order. With Skywest Detroit will be in your future for about 6-7 months. Compass you could probably expect LAX. Their phx base is really small. Mesa, well you're familiar with them.

SkyWest is the only option I would consider in your position.

2 of those 3 won't be in business in 18 months, so choose wisely.

Once the main 4 highest paid regionals all have new pay scales, the rest won't be able to keep up.

Que? We all know you guys drink the most coolaid out of any regional. Let's not shy away from that fact. I mean you all have a topic titled "Skywest training is the BEST in the regionals". Need I say more?

And yes adulting is hard.

Right. Because a tool bag starting a troll thread is representative of all 4500 of us.

Who are these 4 highest paid regionals you refer to? If you take bonuses in to account, Skywest is one of the lowest paid regionals.
