I've used both FMS's and the one in the Q4 is way more user friendly. The Collins has too many buttons to push to get to the damn point. Why does it look like a dinosaur, is the Condition Lever freakin you out or is the the "Torque." Get that "Pounds of Thrust" stuff out of you mind until you get back in the RJ. Give it a couple flights and you'll feel right at home

I'm glad that they go out and buy all these Q400s for Colgan, but yet they can't give us better pay. The new contract better come out soon and it better have a decent raise in it for 2nd yr FO.

What did you think was going to happen, they are taking full advantage of the fact that Colgan is non-union and are used to getting abused as well as being paid dirt wages.......................

Well let's see what the SCOPE section of our next contract ends up saying....... I say bring the Q's to 9E and let 9E pilots fly them.... as for the raise Im sure that will be taken care of too before there's a TA.......

We'll see. Have you heard anything recently about when the TA is supposed to come out? I would have to think by the end of the month. If I am not mistaken, NW is going to start pulling the 17 planes we got back at a rate of 2 per month is no contract was signed by 3/31. NW also fined 9E $2 million for all of the flights that have been getting cancelled. I can't imagine that Phil wants to get fined anymore.

The plane removal is at their discretion. they don't have to remove them they just have the option too. And i seriously doubt they would since we still don't even have them all online and they are footing the bill to turn them all into 50 seaters and get them back up in the air.

i am hearing 2-3 weeks for a ta on the contract.
