Anyone interviewing SKW on the 16th?

I called them and they said they were booked. Looks like I'm freeballing it! Friday has disaster written all over it.

Also, any PCATD or ms flight sim (use an airplane with an HSI) will help out a great deal...do a few hours to get your scan up, practice hold and procedure turn entries as well as full approaches.

No one in my interview group did a perfect sim ride. Everyone screw up on something here or there. Hang in there and do your best. They give you all the time you want with your approaches for review. I lost the glideslope on the ILS 500 ft before DA, called missed and executed the procedure. After I was well on my way to the missed approach hold he stopped me, asked what happened, we reviewed, and he said good call on the missed. They didn't want to see me diving for the glideslope to salvage. It was all over after that and I though I had blown it, but he said I did well on the rest of the approach and hold and he didn't need to see the VOR approach. I had a good attitude with it and moved on with my day. Sit back, relax, and have fun things will work out fine. Oh, by the way good luck and HAVE FUN!

I asked for vectors after blowing the hold on the peice of crap OBS swing needle - he laughed and said you obvisouly fly 121 - I went for another round and nailed it with the HSI...That was after I asked if there was a USAtoday or USweekly in the SIM - just stay positive and make sound judgement and don't chase or try to cover up any mistakes.

I would suggest going over to American aviation, and just sitting in on some sim sessions, you will get some great gouge, and Im sure no one will have a problem with you hanging out. Then chair fly the approaches they said you might expect. Check out willflyforfood.cc for a good gouge if you already haven’t. In the crm portion, they are looking for command ability. Don’t be a wall flower, or an overbearing prick.
