Give me a call when you've sat 6 years as a F/O flying Learjets all over the world because the Loser captains are too comfy making 60k a year being on call 24/7/365. Then tell me you're not ready to sit in the left seat flying 45 minute legs. Absolutely no offense to any regional crews here....this little chase to a captain seat so I can eventually qualify for a 121 F/O seat and make 19,000 a year. OBTW, standing job offer at Pinnacle and numerous Captain offers I had to decline due family. So get off my back, not everyone's in their twenties still getting an allowance from mom and dad.
FWIW, I flew with a 6-year CA last month who's W2 showed $92,000 last year. Sooo...maybe taking that $19,000/job would've been the smart choice. Just a thought. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

What the heck...ask an honest question...get a 10 year's old version of an attempt at a response. I've never seen such a terrible topic. This fellow stopped in here took the time to type and ask an extremely relevant question and surfnfly jumps on him for no apparent reason.
SurfNFly- grow up, be professional..you are a douche.
Sorry for the people here sir, hopefully someone can give you some good information.
By the way, thank you for your service to this country.

Mesa was hiring into the left seat, and as mentioned Skybus along with VA will too (320 type and experience required). In the case of Mesa, I'd ask myself why the the FO's weren't sticking around for upgrade - that should tell you alot.

Mesa has very restrictive upgrade requirements (jet FO cannot upgrade to prop CA, if I'm not mistaken)...and many FOs probably don't have the required flight time to upgrade.

And just to answer the question you can get a CA job on either of the props at Mesa, but they are getting very close to selling all the 1900's as I hear it. In fact Mesa sent out an Email this week saying they will no longer be hiring ANY ppl for Air Midwest and that all future applicants will have to be found by the Air Midwest mgmt team in ICT.
