SkyWest questions
Just a few questions for any SkyWest guys.
1. Posted on airlinepilotcentral.com is that we are getting 15 more 900's to bring the industry down some more, is that true? I guess the fact that Southwest and Frontier that fly the same aircraft, respectively, with different seat configurations, isn't the same we are doing? Can't wait for responses on the SW and F9 comments. Oh, and United is flying the 777 and 747 for the same rate too. We'd all better criticize them too.
2. The same website also said that we are hiring 70 a month through the rest of the year?
3. Has enough ALPA cards been sent in? If so, when is the vote?
Has anyone seen anything OFFICIAL about these questions? I haven't seen the 900 thing on SkyWest's website yet, nor the hiring for the rest of the year. Thanks for any input.

From what I have seen in the past few weeks somthing must surely be in the works at SkyWest - We have a new VP of Finance and a new VP of Market Development within two weeks - replacing two 20+ year guys at SKW; one of which will be assuming different "duties" - their replacements are graduate level mgt types with the bean counter "bottom line" educational background - lips have been sealed in SGU....My guess is it has somthing to do with Midwest - 32 CRJ 900s by this time next year - somthing smells fishy.

Hiring two new senior mgt guys particularly in Market Development and Finance signals some sort of change or development in the near future...My perception at least.
