Default Commute question for SkyWest pilots

From what you have heard or experienced is a commute from Saint George to SLC possible? I noticed there are 8 Brasilia flights per day between SGU and SLC.

Are there many who make this commute?
Is it easy or even possible?
Are these flights usually full?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Anyone else have any experience with this? When you say 35+ listed are you talking per flight?

If you don't mind the drive - it's only 1.5 hrs. to Vegas (LAS) - plenty of flights from there to SLC.

1.5 hour drive to LAS, .5 hour buffer, 1 hour prior to departure, 1 hour flight = 4 hour commute

Same as driving and being in control of your destiny...

I thought about that, just trying to decide if I should move back up to SLC where I am from or stay in SGU and commute from either SGU or Vegas. Anyone know how the loads from Vegas to SLC are? Either Vegas or driving in a pinch. It is a 4 1/2 drive to SLC. But if it ended up being a pinch EVERY time it would not be worth it.

loads are always a Biach out of Vegas...Fortunately for you there's a jumpseat which probably won't have too many commuters goin to SLC. Live in base and make life a whole lot easier...Plus your gonna be on reserve probably for a considerable amount of time....so if your throwin out the dough for a crash pad in SLC you might as well live there..
