Will the RAH DEN base go senior?
Hey guys, just had a couple of questions about Republic's new DEN flying. I did a search but could only find posts by HotMamaPilot talking about how big and shiny her little 757s are.
I have a buddy who lives here in DEN and has an interview with RAH. He is curious as to how long it would take for him to get DEN based. Has there been a domicile bid yet? If so, how senior did it go?
Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks a bunch.

Well RAH has been pretty much an East Coast regional, so any west coast commuters will fill up the slots + its 170's. Dont work for them but my 2cents.
Any seat locks for those who went to the CRJ's for CAL? that would suck if you could of got closer to home...

Yes, it did go very senior, however a couple of new guys snuck in there on the FO side. Cross your fingers and hope you get the 170 for Republic, however you'll be on reserve for an eternity, but who cares if you're living in base right?
To give you an idea of how senior it went, let's just say that guys who are in the top 10% of the company make up most of the base. Enjoy.

Well it did go VERY senior for captains. However, new hires should be able to get it pretty easy. There was an initial bid for 10 fo slots and only 6 took it, the rest of the slots went to newhires. There was another bid for 10 fo's effective june 1st and only 3 took it. So, in total 9 current fo's have taken the DEN slots out of 20 total slots. Those other 11 slots will go to newhires. Also, every 2 months or so there will be a bid out for 10 additional fo slots until all 17 planes are in DEN. I imagine some more current fo's will go to DEN once the base gets up and going but there should still plenty of slots for newhires.
