ALB doesn't have it. I'm sure wherever he started the previous day does though. Darwin wins the day in the end if you love your gun that much.

Yes, we do have some difficult folks in TSA and in customs, but most of the time when crew encounter problems, it's the crewmember causing the friction.

A crewmember shrieking at a TSA employee for "treating him like a passenger" is not a TSA problem. It's a pilot problem. Blaming TSA doesn't change that.

Thats the point. We wouldn't be having this conversation ofnthe had gone through KCM. He had to go through normal TSA screening and that's how it was detected. Unfortunately it would seem this guy went through KCM in MSY the previous day without realizing he had the weapon only to be caught the next morning by ALBs regular TSA screening.
