Can You Lose KCM For Yelling at a TSO?

Never said it was a horror. It's just a bit comical reading all the hand-wringing of a benefit not all of us get. Not sure why some of you think a random pat-down is unacceptable.
BTW the worst part of not having KCM isn't the convenience, it's the idiot pax AND TSA gang who always want to send me to that line, as if I'm an idiot and don't know we aren't all in the program.

What I find asinine is that if I present my KCM card and am in uniform, I breeze right thru with no screening. But if I present that same card in civvies, I must go thru regular screening. I'm pretty sure it's the card that verifies me as safe, not some pretty white shirt with some stripes on the shoulders.
I have no problem with additional screening of luggage or explosive detectors. It's the invasive nature of a pat down of uniformed and verified(key word) flight crew that makes us upset. I'm not saying we should be allowed to carry contraband but a full body search is utterly unnecessary. It doesn't provide more safety in the slightest. There is nothing on the body of a CASS authorized crew member that wouldn't get picked up by x-ray scanners that would be a threat to an airline

I don't see KCM going away. That's the whole reason for random checks. The JetBlue FA got caught, so the random searches worked. If someone continues to break the rules, they'll eventually get caught too. I'm also baffled that airport workers don't usually get screened. Even Fedex screens every employee and pilot before going to work. Luckily, it's not very invasive. If I ever get a full cavity search in uniform, I'll happily do it front of passengers. I want the public to see how ridiculous the TSA can be toward crew members.
I say this every time these discussions come up. When you have a problem with a smurf, complain about it on their website. I had a problem once, sent in a message and the supervisor from my home airport called me personally to apologize! It just shows that most are there to do their job, and I've had almost no issues anymore.

So since you work at a place that doesn't have KCM those of us that do have no right to voice our concerns??
Here's a simple suggestion - fight for your company to get KCM!
Or you could also spare us your pity party.

I don't know that a KCM badge should have any bearing being that they can't verify you, but otherwise I agree. Some airports without KCM even have uniformed crew go through regular security and I think it's ridiculous. I'm working the only flight out of this bfe airport and I have to take off my shoes?

Well, someone with a KCM badge and airline ID badge COULD be assumed to be an airline employee. And as such, they are probably worthy of at LEAST pre-check status. IMHO, anyway. My spouse is treated better in the pre-check line (which I can't even get into unless I am in uniform) than I am with KCM in a regular line.
Seriously considering getting NEXUS for non-revving.
