9E "career progression" to DAL Coming Soon?
In recent discussions with some "prominent" MEC folks, it appears that DAL is becoming more open (and have even suggested in recent talks and negotiations) to a better and more solid "career progression" track for current and future Endeavor Air pilots.
They are well aware the present regional airline landscape is changing quickly, and understand that solid career progression to mainline is really the only way to secure the stability and longevity of Endeavor and its pilots. With the competition (AA, UAL, SWA) working hard to attract our current DGI FO's, newer Captains and new hires (with previous 121 time), the focus has turned on how to best keep our current pilots from leaving.
At present, Delta is doing their best to take the focus away from the current and past SSP failure rate by bringing their chief pilots into current new hire classes and ensuring them the SSP pass rate should not be a reflection of the upcoming DGI. Not sure this approach will pay off.
Whether it's a staple (makes the most sense in my opinion), a pseudo flow w/ current DGI requirements, or some sort of B-scale with varying fences, the underlying consensus is that one of these will be in place within 12-18 months as a means of securing our current pilots and truly providing solid career progression to Delta.
Thoughts, comments, concerns? Discuss.

Lol...based on what I've seen and observed in the last couple months, I tend to believe it will be more of a revised DGI program (similar to the short lived EtoD program). In other words, if you meet DAL hiring requirements, you bid for a class when your number comes up.

I wish we had a flow so bad! My friends over at Envoy are set for life. If anything Delta should have someone from HR sitting at the table in the hiring room at Endeavor. Then they still control who ends up with them, only issue is what do you do with everyone that's currently at Endeavor that's gotten the no once or twice over already? I don't pretend to have the answers just putting in my 2 cents
