I'm not upset, and I never said life is fair. My post was made to illustrate to people that even if minimums are posted, they can be bypassed. And there are literally thousands of regional pilots trying to get hired at DL, and they aren't getting the call, or if they do, they fail the interview.

For those hoping to get the nod, I recommend getting your BMI down to 29 or so prior to the interview.

Probably like a flow is a slap to all who hired through an interview??

I hope this is TIC because it's so way off base it's ridiculous.

How does your question relate in anyway to the post you quoted?

According to the HR JS guy, he barely met the minimums. Had he not, I doubt he would have been hired. I never said the 1,000 was a FAR minimum.

Is it really? How many SSP guys who have been declined a job were on the left side of the BMI scale?

I have no idea. Have you been keeping track?

I keep my eyes open, all the time. I personally have seen one thick person get the nod. And all the double-nos were far from thin. Of course, this is just the ones I have flown with or talked to personally. But some of my friends have noted the same trend.

In post 61 you said he barely met the requirements. Then in post 68 you said he didn't meet the requirements. You're getting toungue tied.

The 1000 turbine time was referencing a statement by a different poster about not having that minimum time which is a stated Delta requirement.

Well, there's no correlation. You know as well as anyone that if your theory could be proven it would be a major problem for Delta.
