Uh uh, not even close.

From collegefactual.com:
16.2% of students at United States Air Force Academy failed to graduate within 150% of the expected time. The majority did so because they dropped out.

11.1% of students at United States Naval Academy failed to graduate within 150% of the expected time. The majority did so because they dropped out.

97% of Naval Academy students stayed for a second year, and 94% of AF Academy students stayed on, as opposed to about 78-79% of students in colleges across the US.

Flow aside, AA has another neat little trick up their sleeve that is pulling folks away from us. Longevity. Work at EDV for 6 years then move to DL, and your retirement flight benefits start over at zero.

Work at PDT for 6 years then move to AA, and in 4 years you have your 10 years towards retirement flight bennies.

Well, academies and flight training are two different balls of wax, but NEITHER has as much of an attrition rate as the guy before you made up out of thin air.

Pilots were 747 Captains to Pan Am FOs whom had 10 years more longevity than their newly appointed captains. Thanks ALPA merger policy. Industry and history knowledge received.

Personally I think we will not get any of the above and many don't want to be a delta pilot, as clueless and antisocial as many of them are. I'm both pricklier than a cactus and hate everybody so I'd fit righ in.

I think you're talking about most pilots in general. I've seen nerds and antisocial pilots at ALL major and regional Airlines.

Yes, if you go to an AA wholly owned, you are far more likely to get hired at Delta, than get hired at American, if you come here. Delta already took many of our former Endeavor pilots that jumped ship for the street captain positions at PSA. They all jumped their SSP spot in line too, if they had stayed here, and received the Delta CJO.

However, Delta would rather see its regionals collapse, than offer a flow, so it doesn't matter.

Exactly. The flow would be a marketing thing for new hires to keep classes full. I think the pilots here would gladly take a flow, because Delta is really creating a top tier product (im drinking the koolaid already so you'll pardon me) and we all think it'll be there for us for the long haul. Delta needs you all to stay at the regionals as long as possible to pad their bottom line. The Flow isn't about movement for Delta, however, for American they have a different idea of hiring and they see it truely as a tradeoff; work a bit here and get a place at mainline.
