You're probably thinking of the Regional Jet Defense Coalition (RJDC), a group whose aim seemed to have been suing to further loosen scope language in mainline contracts to grow the regional airlines larger.

The point is that your compensation has much more to do with the economics of the regional airline segment than your representation. If you choose to ignore that, well that's your problem and not mine.
If you're permanently stuck on the idea that ALPA is to blame for all the ills in the world, no amount of facts will help you.
