hey dingo, do you think a lot of the beech FOs will be moving to the Saab since we are rumored to be phasing out the beech? And if so, I wonder what their upgrade requirements will be set at. If the Beech went away, that would suck for guys close to upgrade to have to be FOs all over again in the saab. Finally, all the guys switching to Saab (FO and Captain) could slow down what we are thinking will be soon be a faster saab upgrade. Does that make any sense??

I heard we weren't hiring into the Beech anymore? Any truth to that?

Im not too sure what's going on with the beech. THey said it will be around for the rest of the year though. I don't think they will be hiring into the beech anymore, but it's just rumor. Nobody is too sure what is going to happen to the beech guys. It sucks, but I gues we will find out soon.

I'm surprised they would stop hiring into the Beech right now. Won't there be some Beech guys that upgrade to the SAAB? I know of some FO's that are transfering and a captain who's going to be training for the Q400 later this year, so you would think there would be need to be some new hires to fulfill attriction. Also, supposedly some Beeches were going soon, but an FO said all 11 were still online.

I think we should just get rid of the 1900.

I've got a question totally off the subject for you Colgan guys. Are your airplanes full very often to and from AOO, SCE, and JST?

Trying to get into one of the three on Friday evening after class. I guess maybe I'll give JST a shot. If nothing else, I'll rent a car and drive from PIT. And before I get mugged by the crowd who thinks I'm doing something stupid by going home on the weekend from class, I plan to drive the 6 1/2 hours back if I can't get a ride.
