What's the story with base seniority? Can somebody rank them in order of seniority? How soon before a new guy can hold a line in CLT?

Can't see it happening. Several new hires recently already have the 1000 hours. Probably enough previous 121 guys to not need street captains for a long long time

I"ll share a few "facts". Been at PSA about 4.5 months. Done I think 4 trips since IOE.
The airplanes I've flown had very few deferrals. All APU worked.
All Captains have been helpful!
Some from my class have a line for Aug. Depends on base.
Got my base of choice before training was complete.
Training a was adequate/fair. Instructors willing to go the extra mile if you give good effort!
You do get your own room and continuous per diem during training.
Joe was brave to post a phone number, take advantage if you have questions, if you want to give him a bunch of crap find something better to do.

1000 SIC 121 requirement
Just so we're all clear on this minor point, a pilot does not necessarily need 1000 hours of 121 SIC time prior to upgrade. The FAR gives credit for 135 and certain 91 PIC experience.
§121.436 Pilot Qualification: Certificates and experience requirements.
(a) No certificate holder may use nor may any pilot act as pilot in command of an aircraft (or as second in command of an aircraft in a flag or supplemental operation that requires three or more pilots) unless the pilot:
(1) Holds an airline transport pilot certificate not subject to the limitations in §61.167 of this chapter;
(2) Holds an appropriate aircraft type rating for the aircraft being flown; and
(3) If serving as pilot in command in part 121 operations, has 1,000 hours as second in command in operations under this part, pilot in command in operations under §91.1053(a)(2)(i) of this chapter, pilot in command in operations under §135.243(a)(1) of this chapter, or any combination thereof.

I have gotten quite a few calls and they all have been truly seeking more information. Don't hesitate to call me if you are interested or have any questions.

Formercrjdriver is over at compass now where he was a former crew scheduler. He is mad at PSA because he moved from one regional to another, had he stayed he would have been a captain now. Sure an APU broke down, things break dude. I am sure your apu will break on that fancy 175 you fly every now and then

I am looking at interviewing at PSA soon. Got the invite. I have flown all the regionals and really enjoyed PSA. Great folks. I had class date with Mesa.
