PSA Airlines - Upgrade and Hiring Numbers
#22
It looks like you are using a 10.0 pilot ratio in the model. I would say at least 11.0, probably 12.5 would be required to account for 117, SAP, and training dept staffing.
Apparently most round 1 bidders are trading down to 65hrs, but are not picking up flying after the final award at the current SDO rate of 150%. Hence the company now offering 175%. Due to the company's inability to be proactive and plan accordingly, I will credit 168hrs for March. Lots of opportunity to prosper off their **** poor planning. LOL

You could do it with a high speed line coupled with the SAP. Although I heard that mgmt shadily is not allowing high speed lines to participate in the SAP.

Joliet is not a recruiter nor a management stooge and he is certainly not stupid.
I've got a feeling that he is cheerleading PSA because he's a little worried that their contract won't be able to attract enough new hires to fill the seats in their yet-to-be-delivered jets, thus forcing them to park some 200s and delaying his upgrade.
How'd I do, Joliet?

I hope they have to make coming to PSA even more desirable. Give us mainline seniority numbers. Eliminate first year FO pay. Do that, and they will have no trouble hiring pilots. Also, the pool is not shrinking. There aren't just as many guys willing to come fly for regional airline pay. They have to make it better, and they will come.
Hahahaha mainline Numbers are not going to happen. You has caved for 4 hires a month after passing interview vs eagle have a minimum of 20 a month and that is just withholding, they should release 50% of every class. What will you give for a mainline number? SAP? 5% more of insurance? What else does PSA pilots have to do for a magical number?
Also remember that APA will be the one that assign the seniority numbers, not management. They would have to agree on that.
Sorry, not going to happen...
