It is. The company got that exemption from common sense, and lost extra effort from at least one high-performing crew member in exchange.

Best I ever did- over 147 hrs
credit with 14 days off, due to ccp and swapping trips out of base for those that were critical in others. You got to watch the reserve grid like a hawk to pull that off though.
Usual- 85-90hrs with 14-15 days off as a very senior Clt fo. It’s possible to get 12 days off as a reserve and credit 75 hrs if you bid properly.
On a side note- now that were “properly staffed” ccp shouldn’t be a regular occurrence so the days of crediting 120-140hrs with 13-14 days are long gone (most likely)

There seems to be a random, but nonetheless disparaging difference dealing with payroll for some pilots here. I never had too many issues with my pay being off until I started picking up SDO and Critical pay. Last time I did, I had to fight to be paid correctly. Same with holiday pay from 2017. It took me involving the CPs to get my pay. I know people who don’t have regular issues, but I know many more who do.
