45k and paid hotels and positive space tickets - shoot on our end of the deal its not even considered an involuntary move to a new base.... XD

Its very tempting to say the least.

I have also emailed my reps with no real answers. I do not blame them for having no answers, cause if the MEC wont give them information how can they share it with us? I feel many local reps are doing a great job!

Remember the Union works for us. As a Pilot group WE pay them. They all get their cell phone bills paid for. (many return calls some dont, which is 100% inexcusable) They get an allotted amount to purchase a Computer every so many years. They get bought off their trips. You guys are negotiating for the pilot group. It is your responsibility to have a state of the union DIRECT from the MEC. You guys are blowing it right now.

.... NOT SO?!?!?! well then explain how you guys are not blowing it with a call in.

Just my opinion here but the longer we go without any announcements from the union the worse this situation looks. It seems to align itself more with this step process where things will be "rolled" out in stages. Reserve rules, PBS, SAP restrictions, Possible Higher Hourly Pay. I got a feeling these new reserve rules are tied into some form of concession from the pilot group in order to build the desired reserve system with buckets, first out/ last out that will eventually take place here. Thus the reasoning behind no communication is because the next stages haven't been agreed upon. The next stages is were the pilot group see's the gains however the first stage could be seen as a loss or concession. This is just my theory for no announcement by the union, and as time goes on it seems to look more plausible.

When Piedmont makes there announcement this will further more increase the pressure upon our union to disclose something.

What's most concerning here is the signed flow agreement by Tim Cannoll, nothing has been released to us regarding it. It doesn't take 5 months for a signature on something ALPA should be praising as a win. There has to be more going on with that one. Perhaps the truth is AA hasn't officially accepted this offer, and has some concerns regarding it...

It was signed on 2/1 and is in Comply and on the ALPA website. Has been for some time.

No idea why they didn't call attention to it when it was executed. Probably because the company and AA had already implemented the changes.

No, but when you do make contact with your reps, understand that they are part of the MEC and are the ones who cast the votes.
