But if you want to be based in DAY or CVG, life isn't as horrible. correct?

If you live near a junior outstation base (DAY, CVG, ORF), that would be the only reason I would advise someone to come here. If you are an East Coast commuter, go to Endeavor and make real money with better work/QOL tools.

If the trend continues, you'll be fine. Base seniority movement is slightly slower in DAY on the CA side. DCA I believe has faster movement for CAs.

Going off the CA Bid Eligibility List, the most junior lineholding CA in DAY is #674 and #657 in CVG for June 2018, assuming no one bids down to reserve. It seemed to have gotten more senior (probably because of senior-manning). For May, the most junior lineholding CA in DAY is #693 and #661 for CVG. ORF and DCA are the most junior, but since ORF only has 10 lines, it's still hard to tell what it'll be like in about 6-12 months.

We have about 1800 pilots in our seniority list. Just doing math shows you need to be in the top 25-42% of the company to be the most junior lineholder CA at our company. The most junior person to be senior-manned is a CLT FO and I believe their seniority # is about 880, so they'll be on reserve at any domicile for quite some time.

Recruiting, are you being honest with people or feeding them 7 year flow BS? And and please stop hiring crashy fos.

The MEC chairman did state over a conference call that "I'm about to roll out a reserve rule LOA with major reserve rule improvements" back in the fall and the current reserve rule LOA had a 60 day timetable requirement for implementing a bucket list which has gone and passed. I can see how guys are calling that a "promise" from the union, are they wrong? Why not own it instead of playing stupid?

Default Pespective

I was asking who and what promise was broken. I also don't defend others for what they say. I encourage you to reach out to your MEC or even my committee. Those that take the time to get informed, seldom use a public web board to do so.
Respectfully, Michael 39%

Why should we reach out? Why can't you reach out to us? Say in a certain email y'all send out to us? If things are stalled out going well. Maybe something simple like that. Instead y'all defend yourselves like we are being unreasonable.

This union blows my mind daily. They treat us like we are annoying kids. Multiple responses I’ve gotten from Travis Ricks are belittling and combative. They expect us to individually reach out for communication when it should be the complete opposite. I’ve asked for months about a conference call and I’ve yet to get a good reason to why the MEC refuses to have one.

FlyyGuyy,
I do not circulate emails nor conduct conference calls. I speak to a man or woman eye to eye. If you want answers, communicate with who I suggested. As the first line of your response indicated, it's up to you.
FlyGuy2112,
Your MEC doesn't conduct the conference calls. We (MEC and NC) all have our contact information available, use it. (2112/The Professor)
